Start Your Journey to Transformative Ministry

A Welcome from the Dean

The call to stand for the gospel and Scripture has been issued to the world. Will Jesus find people of faith when He returns? At Hartwell Divinity School™ (HDS), our founders and professors are deeply committed to the belief that if pastors, missionaries, ministers, apologists, elders, and deacons are discipled properly, not only will our churches withstand the onslaught of secular and pagan culture, but Jesus will indeed find faith on Earth at His Second Coming.

Dr. Chris Berg

United under a common banner and mission, the faculty at Hartwell Divinity School™ believe that a literal, grammatical, historical interpretation of Scripture leads to a full understanding of the Word of God. With this understanding, properly trained church leaders can disciple their members into mature Christians, ready to face the political persecution, moral degradation, and spiritual attacks that have caused many churches to collapse.

We invite you to join us in this mission. At Hartwell™, you will experience a unique education available nowhere else in the world. Our online communities are dedicated to providing direct professor-student interaction through live lectures, discussion groups, and student presentations. All our courses focus on both teaching the truth and defending it. As part of our degree programs, we offer a unique suite of courses that are hard to find elsewhere.

We teach not only Scripture and Theology but also how to dismantle Critical Race Theory, develop a biblical understanding of government, and combat the cultural attack on biblical sexuality. With the tools we provide at HDS, your churches, ministries, and missionary work will flourish despite the world’s antagonism, rather than fade as many have when they gave up on the Bible and gave in to the world.

We believe that when the Church stands up for Scripture and Truth, God works out His Great Commission in mighty ways. The Lord is not finished with His work on this Earth. We hope you will join us and become part of the Church that sees the mountains of secularism and unbelief thrown into the sea and stands tall until Jesus’ return.

HDS Honor Code

Hartwell Divinity School™ holds to the same principles of honor that govern Hartwell™ at large (see below) with the following additions that are necessary due to the high level of character and integrity required of church leaders and seminarian students.

Concerning Plagiarism, A.I. Generated Work, and Use of Sources: HDS holds that plagiarism and A.I. generated work are not acceptable in student assignments, papers, or presentations. A.I. generated work may be acceptable in certain circumstances given a unique assignment and professor approval. If students are discovered to have engaged in egregious plagiarism or the use of A.I. generated work, they will automatically receive a failing grade for the class and must present a case before the dean of HDS in order to determine whether or not they will be allowed to continue in the program. Minor errors in plagiarism will result in either a full letter grade dock or a zero on the given assignment at the professor’s discretion.

Concerning General Morality: HDS requires that students hold to a conservative Christian morality that upholds the sanctity of marriage between one man and one woman, the sanctity of sexuality within marriage, the image bearing nature of the unborn child, and general biblical conduct that precludes drunkenness, licentiousness, and other acts of immoral behavior as outlined in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 and Ephesians 5:3-4 (these are only a few examples of prohibited behavior in Scripture).

As HDS is a divinity school, we hold to the premise that we are discipling our students into mature citizens of the Kingdom of God. As such, students who wish to present polemic (argumentation) papers in support of views that are out of agreement with HDS’s doctrinal statement must be authorized by both the professor of the class and the dean of the divinity school. Failure to follow this proscribed method will result in dismissal from the school on grounds of promoting subversive doctrine.

Hartwell™ Honor Code

Hartwell leadership, staff, faculty, and students will strive to follow these biblical admonitions: “In everything…treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the law and the prophets” and “love your neighbor as yourself”  (Matthew 7:12; 22:36-40, NASB).

Practically speaking, these simple maxims mean that neither students, nor anyone formally affiliated with Hartwell will knowingly engage in lying, cheating, stealing, cruelty, harassment (sexual or otherwise), rule-breaking, violence, or any form of illegal or unethical behavior.

Rather, they will seek to exhibit and emulate the fruit of the Spirit, which is “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law”  (Galatians 5:22-23, ESV).
