ACCREDITATION

Hartwell Divinity School™ (HDS) is a collaborative educational program of two subsidiaries of Hartwell Education, Inc.: Hartwell Quest® and Hartwell University®. Neither Hartwell Quest nor Hartwell University is accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

• Hartwell Quest® is an Arizona entity exempt from licensure by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education. It offers religious and avocational courses and certificates, and it does not grant college credit or degrees.
• Hartwell University® is a Florida entity operating under a religious exemption from the Florida Commission for Independent Education. It offers courses, certificates, and religious degrees.

Hartwell University® plans to seek accreditation from an agency recognized by USDE and CHEA. Accreditation is not guaranteed, and students should not enroll expecting that credits or degrees earned now will become accredited later.

Our leadership and faculty bring extensive experience from accredited colleges and universities, and we design our programs with recognized accreditation standards in mind as we work toward that goal.

Students who want accredited college credit or degrees can pursue them through our credit transfer, dual credit, and dual enrollment partnerships with accredited institutions. Acceptance of transfer credit is always determined by the receiving institution. To explore your options, contact us.
