Hartwell Divinity School™ classes are live online lectures that offer direct professor-student interaction. Coursework can be completed on your own schedule.

HDS Tuition

$400 per credit/unit.

HDS Fees

Technology: $20 (per course)
Continuing Education: $400 (per course (no grade – pass or fail))
*Optional Transcription: $35 (per course)
Official Electronic Transcript: $7
Graduation Fee: $175 (degrees only)

Scholarships

HDS makes special scholarships available through the Adopt A Scholar program. Individuals and organizations are also welcome to provide scholarships for select students through this program for a tax deductible receipt. Scholarships are based on income level. Please inquire if you are in need of a scholarship.

Textbooks

HDS strives to make sure all textbooks and resources are available in digital format and affordable. The caliber (theologically, philosophically, pedagogically, and otherwise) of textbooks and resources takes precedent over their price and digital availability. Because of this, textbook and resource costs vary per course. Students are required to obtain textbooks and resources before each class starts.

Refund Policy

Students receive a 100% tuition refund if they officially withdraw within the first seven days from the start date of any course, and 0% thereafter.

How to Pay

Students will receive an invoice once they have decided on their course(s). Payment is required before enrollment into any Hartwell course. We accept online payments only (no checks or cash). Payment plans are available.
